For the last three Fridays I have been a part of the Code in action group I learnt how to use Block coding.

Some things I learnt how to use make something called the agent to interact with the world.

The code you see in the image makes it Turn left move forward 2 times then I used a function a function is basically a set of instruction that you make each function get a second block with the name of the function on it what this block will do is play the code in the function. then I made it turn right then -3qqqwmove forward 2 times then I used function 2.

 

for literacy I write a piece of persuasive writing.

First I read the zoo article and I learnt how animals were treated in zoos. so I choose to write about it we started with a hamburger plan to get more information we did an interview I choose to interview dylan. Now it was time to start writing I started by making my introduction then I made the main body I write my Four main points. now it was time to finish with the conclusion.

For Monday Mashup I chose to digital create with Urmi.

We started by Finding out what we could make out of  20 options I chose to make a castle But I could not Because my Chromebook kept crashing. I lost my progress and there was only enough time to make this.   here is the link to what I used.

Week 2

I made a solar system with 6 planets the name of the 3rd one is 🈹.

then I made air fern it is a redesign of air new zealand.

after that i made jebs hunting gear it is a redesign of gun city.

 

 

 

Week 3

I started by choosing to make a map I made the men and castles first. then I made the land. after that I choose where to place the men and where to place the borders after that I made some art

 

Last week for Monday mashup me and My buddy Dylan made a Card game.

Week 1. We started By making a sketch of the Cards and what you need to make the game

Week 2. We start making the cards We only get to make 3 cards before Time is up.

 

 

here is a general explanation Of the game

there a 50 cards 2 sets of dice and area to put the cards

there are 4 types of Cards

Steal

Blocky

and Trap

Item card give the blocky cards and an ability

Steal card are used to steal blocky cards

Blocky card are the ones in the picture Each card has the amount of points it gives at the end of the game

trap cards have number that shows how many blockys it can protect.

 

Last week we started Monday mashup with

i chose to do  Puzzles.

The skills i used were Communication working together and Honesty

For about 14 weeks

i have been learning about Navigating the journey

 

For literacy I have been doing a novel study here is a short summary of what is happening so far 

Opal finds Winn Dixie and says that winn Dixie belongs to her opal washes winn Dixie opal Then go’s to church where he catch’s a rat and brings it to The preachers feet and he through the rat out the door. then they went to the library Where Winn Dixie was mistaken for a bear.

Niko the tug boat operator has been one for 40 years one day on a returning trip fog covers the entire river suddenly a green light covered the mist as the tug boat reached the other side the tug boat dock was gone and the shops were gone the passenger were confused were every thing went every thing looked old he realized he in the 1800s he saw a police carriage rushing straight at him hes arrested and the ship makers go to the tug boat. the police ask him were he came from he says hes from 2023 they believe him because the think  people get super advanced in 223 years so they let me go back to my tug boat luckily no one went on board I saw a new button I press it and get sent back to the futcher were I was going under the bridge and a dentist fall on to my tug boat an wheels fall from the bridge too hes buried in car wheels I get them of him and ask him were he wants to go Vietnam I press the button a appear in Vietnam and a hevey soldier lands on my tug boat he ask me where did you come from I say welcome to the time traveling tug boat. the dentist asks me to go back to his time I press the button and send him back. I say we are going to world war 2 we go there oh I set it to the wrong time oh well i press the button to get to world war 2 i pick up some guns for the tug boat.

since some of my friends are leaving the school I can no longer continue this story.
